PHNOM PENH & LUANG PRABANG EXTENSION

Day 15: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (flight to be advised) (coach class)

After breakfast, free at leisure. 12.00P.M check-out of the hotel and until transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 15: Phnom Penh

After breakfast, set out on a city tour to visit the National Museum which houses Khmer art, especially sculptures from different periods of Cambodian history; Royal Place built in 1866 by King Norodom; Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles and located within the Royal Palace compound and end the day with a visit to the Killing Fields and the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum.

Day 16: Phnom Penh – Vientiane (flight to be advised) (coach class)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival at the Wattaway airport, you are welcomed to Vientiane, the city of the moon – an ancient city, situated on the bend on the left bank of the Mekong as the largest city and the capital of Laos. Transfer to hotel for check-in.

Day 17: Vientiane sightseeing/ Vientiane – Luang Prabang (flight to be advised) (coach class)

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of the city’s major historic sites including religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple to have survived from the Siamese war of 1828 and its cloister contains more than 8,000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo, but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues, antiques and all artifacts found in and around Vientiane; 12.00P.M check-out of the hotel. Continue to visit That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa, containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha; Patouxay (Arch de Triumph), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today as the land mark of Vientiane. Late afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang.
